When is the Perfect Time to Start?

“I’m not qualified to <<insert your boldest goal here>>.”

How many times in our lives, especially as women, have we said that? It doesn’t matter what we put in the blank, we say this often.

I most recently said this just before I started my business. I don’t have any business experience (unless you count multi-level marketing) and no MBA. The one sales job I had, I was fired for lack of results. Add in an uncertain economy, and no one would have said “this is a perfect time to start.”

If we wait for the perfect time to start, we will NEVER even begin. There is always an excuse to not start, whether it is a business, going back to college, applying for that amazing job, or starting a healthier lifestyle.

💭So how do we find the right “imperfect” time to start?

That’s exactly what Johanna and I unpacked in the sixth and final episode of season 1 of Making WAVES to Move to Joy.

  • Silencing the Inner Critic that says, "It's too late!" Learn how the best time to start is always now.

  • The "Progress Over Perfection" principle that allows you to start messy and still move directly to joy.

  • Get the facts: Why entrepreneurs with real-world experience are the most likely to succeed.

❓What is one thing that you told yourself you weren’t “qualified” to do, but took a chance on anyway?
